Off-Road events in Karabük
The 7th and final leg of the Turkish Off-Road Championship organized by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) on 14-15 October has been completed at Çamlı village region of our university campus.
Spectator laps were held with the participation of 14 race cars on the private course prepared behind the university campus on the second day of the race by the contributions of Karabük-Safranbolu Nature Sports Search and Rescue Association (KARDOFF) and Health, Culture and Sports Department of our university. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Refik Polat started the races with Karabük Governor Kemal Çeber and Karabük deputy Prof. Dr. Burhaneetin Uysal.
Ranking in S2 Classification
In the races, Mehmet Birkan and Bekir Sami Başkal took the first place whereas İrfan Korkmaz and Ali Özsoy took the second place and Mustafa Akın and Mustafa Dikici got the third.
Ranking in S3 and S4 Classification
In S3 classification İsmail Ayhan ve Levent Köremezler took the first place whereas Özgür Yaprak and Hasan Armutçu took the second place and Zeki Karaçaylı and Engin Bal got the third. In S4 classification Erdoğan Kovancı and Halil İbrahim Elieyi took the first place whereas Mustafa Saray and Samet Zurnacı took the second place.
Ranking in General Classification
In general classification Erdoğan Kovancı and Halil İbrahim Elieyi took the first place whereas İsmail Ayan and Levet Köremezli took the second place and Mustafa Saray and Samet Zurnacı got the third place.
The cups of ranking the highest were given by Rector Prof. Dr. Refik Polat, Karabük Governor Kemal Çeber and Karabük deputy Prof. Dr. Burhaneetin Uysal in the ceremony held at the Faculty of Engineering of the University.
